![]() I googled around about them, but the only reference I have is the Compaq part number - I found a coupla cases of an owner exclaiming their greatness, but nothing else. I really like the way they sound, but not having much experience with such things and knowing they were bundled with a cheap computer, doubt they're very high quality. Bulgish design with the bottom coupla inches of each speaker being a mini subwoofer. My question? Is there a chance of this being fixable as a system, would it be worth using without the front right speaker, and are any of the parts useful for anything? Can I / would I want to hook up any of the speakers / subwoofer to anything else? Power adaptor wire broken into orangeish wire near end of the cable too. orangeish wires poking out of the back of the speaker. Cable off one speaker is broken at the speaker itself, i.e. ![]() POS, sure, but I'd like to scramble any use out of it I can. I picked up a Cambridge Soundworks PCworks four-points surround system at a garage sale awhile back for something like $5 when I knew even less about anything then I do now. ![]()
